Skinnaturals Collection by Skinn Costmetics {Review}

Have you noticed all the skincare reviews I’ve been doing lately?  I’m becoming particularly particular about what I’m putting on my face, how I’m moisturizing, and how I’m taking care of it in general.  You only get one face, ladies!  I’m starting to really be able to distinguish what is effective and what my face reacts to the best.  I’m pleased to tell you about a real winner, Skinnaturals, and what I love about it.

This collection is a trio of ingenious products, each with remarkable components and qualities, and meant to be used in conjuction with eachother.  This first step is a Skinnatural Calming Cleanser.  This is a natural, sulfate-free, detergent-free cleanser that cleans without drying.  It doesn’t have a strong added scent to it, but I can detect the botanical extracts, like white tea and cucumber.  As you’d expect, it has a nice subtle earthy and plant-like scent, but nothing unnatural.  It can effectively remove my makeup without a lot of suds or even a lot of effort scrubbing and rinsing.  It is formulated to work well on sensitive skin, and I found it very mild and calming.  This is sold for $24.50 for 4 oz.

Part 2 is the Skinnatural Soothing Serum.  You can read on the bottle how this is a concentrated solution that is “anti-redness & inflammation relief”.  It provides long term soothing and offers relief for redness and irritation.  I don’t know about you, but I’m experiencing a lot of redness and flaking skin lately.  This cold windy weather is getting the best of me.  This serum feels great on my face.  The green color is soothing and I like picturing it nourishing the surface of my skin and deeper.  This contains licorice root extract and white tea extract that helps reduce inflammation.  This serum retails for $36.50 for 1 oz.

The last step is the Skinnatural Comforting Crème.  This is a powerful and gentle moisturizer with long term benefits.  Vitamin F, wood and plant extract and white tea extract help to offer anti-redness, anti-wrinkle, anti-aging and anti-damage benefits  while supporting healthy epidermal structure.  Now the directions say to squirt out a quarter size amount and apply to face, but I found this to be waaaay to much for me.  I felt pretty smothered and I had to really work it in for quite awhile to get it all absorbed.  I’ve since started using less than a dime-size amount, and this seems to work better for me and my face.  Even in small amounts, this creme is soothing, intense, and I’m loving it more every time I use it.  This retails for $34.50 for 1.7 oz.

I’ve only been using these products for a couple of weeks, but I love how calming this system feels on my face!  My poor facial skin has been drinking it up and looking more healthy every day.  This trio really feels like it is doing much more than just getting makeup off.  If feels like my face is getting a nourishing bath, a soothing moisturizer that lasts all night, and that it is looking healthier and happier.  Just writing this up makes me want to go wash my face and use all these products asap.

The set of three products retails for $49.50, but the products are also available for purchase individually at www.skinn.com and via ShopNBC.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
