Reed & Barton Girls Jewelry Boxes {Giveaway} – CLOSED

Disclosure: This could be a sponsored post or contain affiliate links (which means I earn a percentage of the sale), but all opinions are strictly my own.

When I was a little girl, I had one of those romantic white jewelry boxes with wind-up tinkling music and a dancing ballerina inside. It was one of my prized possessions for much of my childhood! I don’t know where it is now, but I do remember the last time I saw it, it clearly had endured a lot of love in those years.

Now that I’m a mom, I can’t wait to give a future daughter a jewelry box of her own. Reed & Barton has some absolutely gorgeous jewelry boxes for girls, all beautiful, and all an gorgeous addition to anyone’s vanity shelf.

These are so classic and so beautiful! Each one looks like a work of fine craftsmanship with smooth paint and lovely lines. I was honored to review the Bella Jewelry Box, sold for $85 at Reed & Barton. It looks like a charming little armoire! Well, actually, there’s nothing ‘little’ about it. This jewelry chest is huge and SOOO much bigger than I realized, based on the online pictures of the item. It reminds me of the grand wardrobe in Beauty & the Beast.

Everything about it emotes “quality”.  And “princess”.  I love it!  No corners have been cut in its construction.  The hinges are oiled, the velvet interior is expertly draped, and even magnetic parts are built into the doors for a soft and secure closure.

I love that this isn’t a drop box or a ‘catch-all’. There are compartments for rings and pendant hooks for necklaces, so that each piece has a place to go without getting tangled and lost at the bottom. The pink jeweled knobs are just a little glam, and the hot pink flocked velvet interior is so pretty!

The finished measurements are 9 5/8 x 6 1/8 x 12 1/2″ H. That’s over a foot tall, if you can’t tell from these pictures, and the box it came in weighed around 9 pounds.

Everything is out of sight, contained and safe. I am tickled pink (!) with how much jewelry can fit inside, away from toddler fingers and settling dust. I can see how a box with so many pull-out parts that requires cleared shelf space on both sides, above, and in front can be difficult to store, but for how many things you can fit inside, I think this is really a space-saver in the end.
