I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few things that require outlets when I get ready in the morning.  A hairdryer, flat iron, laptop, etc.  Our super awesome and extremely old Boston townhome has only one outlet per bedroom, so extension cords are a must.  I may not be the smartest crayon, but I know what can happen when you daisy-chain too many extension cords together.  Still, when I need to access all six of the outlets, and I’m left to work with giant bulky pronged plugs, what else am I left to do?

You get a hold of these 1-foot extension cables from Solid Cordz, that’s what you do.

Since my husband is the techy in our relationship, I had him spear up this review and contribute his thoughts:

A lot of times when you’re dealing with surge protectors, you have very minimal space to plug in several AC adapters.  Some of those power bricks are so large that they can cover several outlets on the surge protector, minimizing how many things you can plug into it.  You can use these Solid Cordz 1-foot extension cables to free up that space.  These mini extension cords are ideal for tight spaces that have a lot of components running to it, like behind entertainment centers or computer desks.

We’ve used these in tight spaces behind our entertainment center, which is also the master outlet for our Christmas tree lights on timer, and there’s no way we’d be fitting everything onto one power brick without these 1-ft extension cables to space everything out better.

We’ve also used these when we needed a short cable of a certain length.  These were just the ticket when we put up our tree and needed to move the electric piano into the kitchen for the month.  Using these Solid Cordz, we created a chain exactly the length we needed, within a few inches, so that there wasn’t extra cord to trip over.

IMG_8980In all, we really like these extension cables.  There’s not a lot to them, but sometimes its the simple ingenious inventions that really make life easier.  We’re glad to have these around, especially around the holidays when it feels like everything needs to be plugged in!

You can purchase the PREMIUM Solid Cordz 1 Foot Extension Cable – wire, black (Pack of 5) on Amazon HERE.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
