My first child wanted nothing to do with a pacifier. My second is rarely seen without one. He is attached to it like an old man and his eyeglass or pocket-watch, the way we have to tether it to him so he won’t lose it! Doom on the parent who has to put the baby to bed and can’t find the binky. The first binky clip we got was from a dear friend (thanks Chappy!) and he has completely worn it to threads! This is after hours and hours and hours of love!
Yup, time for a new one! Also, take note of all the drool dripping down his chest. Its a big problem lately. I’m having to change his clothes throughout the day just so that he’ll have a dry shirt. Two problems where Bazzle Baby came to our rescue! Everything they sent me was EXACTLY what we needed around here!
Tan-ta-ra! The Banda Bib and Paci Clip! This Banda Bib rocks. It catches that drool like a boss.
When I first saw these online, I thought I could easily make one myself, but after handling this Bazzle Baby product, I see the superior features that make this well worth the cost of just buying it for $12. This is not just a bandana. These have a very strong and sturdy velcro fasten behind the neck that is adjustable, and a soft terry lining behind. They are sewn very well, and can hold up to a lot of wear and washings.
Good velcro is so important when you have a baby who likes to rip things off his neck! I can’t keep a bib on “Little Brother” for the life of me, but he must find these comfortable or not worth the exertion of pulling it off, because he will leave these well enough alone. I think he prefers to wear them, actually. Cool.
Also, behind the colorful fabric is a layer of soft, absorbent terry cloth. Look at all this drool it is catching!! Halfway through the day, I’ve been switching out his bib for a clean one, and his shirt is completely dry underneath!
Get two or three of these–they’re saving me heaps of laundry! He’s been wearing these non-stop, even during his naps, and he seems much more comfortable throughout the day.
We also received two Paci Clips–they are so cute and functional! The length is just right on these–not too long to dangle out of baby’s reach, but long enough to clip nearly anywhere and still not get yanked out of his mouth. The grosgrain ribbon is a terrific choice, and the edge details are darling. These start at $5.50?! Definitely worth it. Here are some other way cute styles:
