Ageless Derma carries skin care products, mineral makeup, and spa services. Within the mineral makeup line is this Camoufleur Concealer, created to cover up imperfections of the skin. We’ve all got them–scars, brown spots, or port wine stains. I have quite a bit of spots left from my acne-ridden teenage years that I routinely try to conceal.
This versatile mineral make up concealer comes in five different shades, and I chose to review the “wheat” color. It is very creamy and light–a good mix between powder and liquid. Ageless Derma claims that this concealer is actually healthy for your skin since it is 100% mineral while being free of parabens. Ingredients include apple extract, mineral oil, colloidal oatmeal, beeswax, and horseradish.
When I’ve applied this concealer, I’ve rarely needed more than what is on my finger above. The substance is somehow thick enough to get excellent coverage with one layer, while being light enough that you don’t even feel it there.
What I didn’t even think about initially is how this can be used to hide signs of anti-aging. You can use it under eyes to hide dark circles and to fill in wrinkles. Ok, so notice the small scars along my jawline and the imperfections all along my cheeks. I used about a fingertip’s worth of this concealer on the trouble spots, followed by light foundation, and I was so pleased with the improvement.
I think it looks very natural, and with a thicker application, I think you could get near flawless. Whenever I apply this, it lasts throughout the day without drying out my skin or becoming noticeable under mineral foundation powder. Think of this as a concealer as well as anti-aging makeup, and you’re getting a two for one deal out of this product.
