I feel like I’ve just lost the last two weeks of my life–spent entirely moving apartments!  What a pain in the butt!  What a big, expensive, horrible process of boxing, loading, unboxing, and rearranging everything you own.  However, the huge perk of a new space, in my opinion, is clean walls!  Blank canvases that scream, “Do something with me!”

Good thing Walls Need Love hooked me up with a batch of their super CUTE gold confetti dots for my studio!!  These are the Wall Decals Mini-Pack – 2″ Confetti Polka Dots, sold for $12.

Exhibit A: the packaging is charming.IMG_9722

You are provided with detailed (and witty) instructions, a squeegee card, and a cute tag.  The instructions give plenty of tips on how to get the perfect setting, regardless of whether your decals are large or small, intricate or simple.

I received (72) 2″ polka dots so I got to work cutting these out.  You can tape these in place first to give you an idea of what the final product could turn out to be.  They peel easily, adhere excellently, and flatten without bubbles effortlessly when you use the included card.sque

I’m currently in the process of getting ALL of these cute dots up.  My mother-in-law is coming to stay in this room where I’m sticking them, so I’ve been stalled mid-project, but I can just see how awesome this is going to look!  Weeeee!

But here’s a visual of what a finished room could look like:

I LOVE these dots!  And for $12, you don’t have any excuses to not doll up a room of your own.  These come in DOZENS of colors to suit your style.

Take a few minutes and peruse all the super cute and trendy decals that are above ordinary.  I am being swept away by all the gorgeous stripes, prints, decals, removable wall paper, etc. etc.  I neeeeed!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

I just checked out Walls Need Love site. They have some very different wall decals than I have seen at other sites. My favorite is from Artist Alpha-Tone. The “FEEL LUCKY” CHARACTER-TYPE WALL DECAL. Its Dirty Harry’s gun with the words, “Do you feel lucky well do you punk,” I love it. To awesomely cool.

  5. Robin Wilson says:

Ya know, not being as young as I used to be, painting seems to get harder and harder to do. But this is a great way, not to mention easy way, to add some life to a room.

  6. Maryann D. says:

I think this is a great idea and lots of fun to use also. This can really dress up the walls of a room with lots of different patterns.
