Summer is just around the corner. That means warmer days, pool time and lots of outdoor activities. Who doesn’t want to soak up so much Vitamin D after a long dreary winter? But with your little ones, their skin needs to be treated so much differently then yours does!

Babyganics, the leading manufacturer of naturally safe and effective products for a “baby-safe world,” would like to introduce you to their new Mineral-Based Sunscreen lotion (50+SPF). Providing broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection that glides on smooth for effortless application, this new offering just in time for summer has a non-chemical, non-whitening formula that absorbs easily to skin, perfect for high exposure areas and targeted protection. Although Babyganics has no PABA, Parabens, nano-particles, Phthalates or fragrances, it is just as effective as a traditional sunscreen.

Pediatrician and dermatologist tested, their mineral-based formula is non-allergenic, tear free, and is the only sunscreen with Babyganics’ exclusive NeoNourish Seed Oil Blend that nurtures and supports baby’s skin. Let’s not forget that this product is also water resistant for up to 80 minutes! Babyganic’s Mineral-Based Sunscreen lotion (50+SPF) retails for $9.99 and is available for purchase at Babies ‘R’ Us, Buy Buy Baby, Target, and online at Diapers.com.

I loved the consistency of this sunscreen. It was thick and creamy and had no smells that came when putting it on (no teary eyes, no whining because it’s to strong and smells yucky)  What I love about this product is that it was created by a group of parents. A lot of other parents including their wives were saying how they wanted to protect their child’s skin better. This is where they came up with babyganics. I really like companies who reach out to the community and find out what’s most important to them.

They also offer so many more baby-safe products. Laundry detergent, toothpaste, baby wipes, hand sanitizer. You name it!!! My husband makes fun of me because I literally wash my hands after anything I do (OCD maybe? haha) but I always have to have the best soap in our kitchen so it doesn’t dry out my hands. Babyganics hand sanitizer is amazing and the ingredients are so great for kids! Definitely check out their other baby-safe products and see what you can get your hands on!

So get your babies ready for summer the right way! A cute hat, some fun shades and some Babyganics! After all, don’t we all want “smooth as a baby’s bottom” skin 😉

I love naturally safe and effective products and I am looking for them for myself and family. We all have sensitive skin. I would use this product myself as well as for a baby.

  2. Meagan bs says:

i’ve been wanting to try something like this for my daughter, but i’d probably use it on myself too.

  3. Rachel L. says:

I’ve been considering getting a sunblock for the kids with fewer chemicals. We usually use Neutrogena, but I wonder about some of the ingredients.

  4. Sarah Mahan says:

Being a pale redhead, sunscreen is a major part of my summer regime. I appreciate products that have natural ingredients.

  5. Rachel L. says:

I just picked this up from Target. It was on sale for $8, which was nice. I did notice that it contains EDTA, which is disappointing. They did offer one natural baby sunblock without EDTA, but the price was $36.
