I have a LOT of purses. Its kind of embarrassing. If you’re a purse/handbag person, you understand. Even if you find the bag perfect for all your needs, you can’t just have ONE! I went to NYC this last weekend with a bunch of girlfriends and the only thing I wanted to do while we were there was find a knock-off bag! The handbag is so integral to the outfit, how could you get by without atleast a solid, a neutral, and a print? (First world problems, I know…) The trouble with owning all of these said purses and handbags is storing them. I once saw a product called a “purse parking lot” and it looked like a giant shoe storage unit, but bigger, and I didn’t think it looked remotely ridiculous. Anyways. What to do with all these bags when you’re not using them…
Run Run Run totally gets it. Their bags are all collapsible and compress down to small dimensions, something like 4.75″ wide by 3.5″ tall. You could own a dozen of these and be able to store them anywhere you wanted. Think about TRAVELING! These must be rockstars for the packer who wants to coordinate her bag on vacation.
They have the cutest prints and colors, and a variety of styles, because we all know that we have our own ‘handbag style’. You can find shoppers, totes, messengers, and crossbodies. Oh these florals!!
See how the magic happens:
I was sent the L.A. Messenger in Teal Solstice. The colors and design aren’t something I would normally choose, so it was fun to try something different and branch out from my norm.
This bag is 15.75″ wide by 13.75″ tall (opened) and 7.5″ wide by 4″ tall (folded). The strap is adjustable and it has some excellent pocket placements: a space for water bottles, pens, cellphones, diapers and wipes, my shopping list, my wallet…this is a great way to avoid having your purse turn into a pit.
This messenger can fit an iPad or laptop easily and though it looks fairly casual to me, I think it could almost work for the office as well. The slightly off-centered print bothers me only because I’m a seamstress and a fabric perfectionist, but it won’t drive me up the wall, and it may not be a problem on other Teal Solstice messengers.
Run Run Run’s products are all environmentally friendly and hold the equivalent of three supermarket plastic bags. While I do wish that the material were a little less crinkly (and I fully understand that this might be the small price I have to pay for recycled, washable products), I am super impressed with the hardware. These are high-quality heavy weight clips and metal parts. Even the adjustable strap feels like a thick high-quality leather that could be transferred and used on other bags. The stitching is secure and coordinating in color, and and I think it has the potential to last for a long time.
Besides bags, RunRunRun also sells lunch totes and accessories like iPad cases and coin purses. Everything is machine washable! How about that! Check out all the lovely styles and prints, and follow along for news and sales.

That’s cool how they fold up so compactly. I’m with you about the design of the Teal Solstice. 🙂
I am crazy about colorful tote bags like these. I like that they are collapsible and compartmental.
