I worked in an elementary school in the primary grades for a couple of years, and I always had a bottle of hand sanitizer at my desk.  I used it all day long, and I would quickly squirt some on my students’ hands as they walked out the door to go to lunch and when they came back from recess.  One of the downfalls to using this hand sanitizer, though, was the alcohol included in the product — I couldn’t stand the horrible smell of alcohol that followed, and I hated the burning sting that came when the sanitizer would hit a paper cut or scrape.

safeHands offers an alternative to alcohol-based hand sanitizers with their products that are alcohol- and ethanol-free.  We were sent a set of the safeHands line and the safeSquirts line, and we love all of them!

The safeHands line comes in unscented, Clean Linen, and Cucumber Mint, and I love that they all leave my hands feeling clean with a light scent.  safesquirtsWe also received the safeSquirts line, and my boys ask for these all the time on the go!  I keep one in my van, one in my husband’s truck, and one in my purse so we can sanitize and moisturize whenever we need.  These scents include Bubble Gum, Cool Blue, and Tooty Fruity, and I love that they foam so the product lasts as long as possible.

safeHands also offers safeWipes with the same sanitizing features, and they will be offering safePaws for pets, safeTronics for electronics, and zenHands with aromatherapy.

If you’re looking for an alternative to alcohol-based hand sanitizers or are interested in products that are safe for kids and healthy for the planets, take a look at safeHands!

Hand sanitizer with no alcohol! How marvelous is that! I haven’t seen these in the store anywhere; maybe they are new. I would be really interested in the Safe Paws for the Cat (who insists on getting on the bed and yet also … uses a litter box, the less said about that the better!). And I would buy the SafeTronics for the phones, keyboards and most important mice around here!
