I can’t keep from dressing up the baby in costumes!  Take advantage of it while I can, right?  Before he decides he has a mind of his own about what he wears.  Dress-up isn’t just for Halloween, y’all.  Think about all the holidays where a baby in a costume is just the perfect touch for any holiday family gathering or event!  Take Easter!

When buycostumes.com asked if I would review one of their costumes, I thought a little Easter outfit would be just too cute for the little guy.  I picked out the Little Lamb Infant Costume, and giggled when I pulled it out of the bag.  Easter pictures here we come!

Could he pass off as a bunny?  To be completely traditional, perhaps I should have picked out a bunny outfit, but I’m trying to think ahead here, and thought a baby lamb costume could be used in the future for family group costumes like “Mary and her little lamb”, or “barn animals”, or “Bo Peep and her sheep”.  We’ve got a lot of Halloweens to come, and a lot of future babies that will be wearing this!

I think the outfit is darling!  The fluffy cotton material is much thicker than I thought it would be, so it could be a great outdoor costume.  The ear hat is easy to put on and comfortable for the baby to wear, and the chin strap is soft and secured with velcro.  The footy booties have a nice tight ankle cuff that keeps them on wiggly feet, with lots of room to fit shoes inside if needed.

The pink costume satin fabric in the ears is of a good weight and feel, and attention has been taken to sewing them in securely.  The whole outfit is so FLUFFY!  Adorable.

The costume is spacious and roomy, but it could be bunchy on a smaller body and still look great.  Thus, this costume could fit a large variety of sizes.  Think multi-usage over the years.  But maybe not a 3T toddler 🙂 “Rocket”, not wanting to be upstaged by this little brother, begged and begged to try on the costume as well, and I just couldn’t stop laughing, and had to take a picture!  Oh this boy cracks me up!
