Little Green Pouch {Giveaway} – CLOSED

I was joking with my husband the other day that it feels like most of my “modern” pregnancy and infant parenting choices are not so modern anymore.  I beg for an epidural when I walk through the door of L&D rather than birthing naturally, I nurse for only a couple of months before switching to formula and bottles, I prefer to have my babies in their own cribs without any blankets or crib bumpers rather than in bed with me, I use disposable diapers, and the list goes on.  The only thing that I’ve done with my boys that is semi-“modern” is make my own baby food.  I LOVED being able to throw fruits and vegetables into the Magic Bullet and come out with great, fresh baby food in just a couple of seconds.  One of my main problems, though, was transporting it and feeding them when we were out of the house.  Frankly, I think this is concern even with store-bought food — it’s just not easy to find a suitable high chair substitute and then to use a spoon with the little containers.

Meet my new favorite modern product, Little Green Pouch!!  The Little Green Pouch is a reusable food pouch that can be filled with healthy foods of your own choosing, that can save money, and that is a green alternative to disposable food pouches.

pouch 4 pack

I absolutely love these Little Green Pouches!  While their use for baby food is obvious, they are easily used for older kids as well.  I can’t even begin to count the number of times my four-year-old asks for sugar-filled Gogurt or another pricey applesauce pouch after he’s completely downed one in record time.  We’ve used them for our boys (22 months and 4 years old) in the past couple of days, and they work like a charm.

openA friend of mine mentioned that she’s freezed food in them so they can thaw out throughout the day and be ready for lunches or snacks on the go.  These would be perfect to keep food cold in lunch boxes at school or day care.

And, another one of my modern-but-not-modern choices is to use the dishwasher instead of washing by hand, so thank heavens that these Little Green Pouches are dishwasher-safe!

  1. Rachael young says:

These are fantastic! I would put homemade baby food in the pouches

  2. I would put our green smoothies in there for my daughters to have on-the-go! They love them, but they sure can make a mess, and it’s hard to take my blender everywhere. I would love to take the smoothies with us in such great Little Green Pouch-es. 🙂

  3. Homemade baby food!

  4. Keighty says:

Green smoothies! Yogurt! Anything and everything that gives me a panic attack about feeding my toddlers when there aren’t dogs around to clean up after them :).

I’d most likely put applesauce in for my 3 year old and homemade baby food for my 5 month old (when he’s a bit bigger).

  20. Kimberlie says:

I would make strawberry applesauce and put it in the pouch for my 2 youngest to eat while at brother’s baseball practice.

  21. I’m expecting a little one soon and would love to be able to use these. I plan on making my own baby food when the time comes, so that would definitely be put in the pouches.
