Summit Toys {Giveaway} – CLOSED

I know that parts of the United States (hello, Midwest!) is still getting plenty of snow, but we here in coastal North Carolina have finally been able to take our kids outside and play in the 50-60 degree weather.  Although I love the cold, I have to admit that my mom-of-two-young-boys side is itching for some warmer weather so we can all go out and play.  And so I don’t have to find jackets each morning.  And so I can be done washing loads of socks.

With that in mind, these toys from Summit Toys are some perfect spring and summer weather toys to get the kids outside and then to give them something to do!  Summit Toys offers three main lines of toys, and we were lucky enough to try out one from each line!

Test Pilot

I’m sure that my boys (and husband included!) would love just about anything from the Test Pilot line, as they spent hours together playing with a fun remote control helicopter we own and a set of rockets my husband received for his birthday a couple of years ago.  These toys didn’t disappoint!

Afterburner Launch Tube

As soon as I opened the box from Summit Toys, the Afterburner Launch Tube was the first thing out!  The paratrooper can be launched high into the air through the launch tube, and a little trial and error leads to some great results!  Summit Toys also offers the opportunity for kids to “record flight test techniques online and compete with other kids across the country”.

The Backyard Safari line caught my eye since I can remember my two younger brothers looking for bugs and lizards for HOURS; we usually had some sort of outdoor creature in a “habitat” for a day or two before letting it back outside.  I’m not overly girly, but I’m definitely NOT a tomboy — this mom is going to need some help when it comes to catching bugs!

bug vac

The Outfitters Laser Light Bug Vacuum is perfect for this mom and is equally enticing to my boys!  The built-in magnifying glass allows for bugs to been seen right in the bug vacuum and then released back into nature or transferred to another habitat.

The Zillions line is perfect for the budding lemonade stand entrepreneur and for an introduction to money and saving money.

Smart Bank

A couple of months ago, at the height of his United States obsession, my four-year-old started collecting the United States quarters, and we put them on a collection board.  Since then, he’s been more and more interested in coins — this Smart Bank was perfect for him, and it is just too dang cool!  It counts your money as you insert each coin, sorts it by coin, and then subtracts the amount when you dispense a coin at the bottom.

If you’re looking for toys with great quality and a great price, take a look at Summit Toys for some great toys with a twist!
