Curious Minds Busy Bags {Giveaway}– CLOSED

When I discovered Pinterest a couple of months ago, I started pinning things to my boards like crazy with the best intentions to actually prepare crock pot freezer meals, paint canvas word art, make my own pasta, reupholster my ottoman, and build a new addition to my house.  Any of you feel the same way?  🙂

Really, though, one of my favorite pins was about busy bags.  My boys are 1 1/2 years and 4 years old, so I thought that busy bags would be the perfect solution to keep them occupied when needed.  As I started creating them, though, I realized that I had lots of materials left over, which didn’t make them very cost-effective.  At the time, I didn’t know enough people with children my boys’ ages who were interested in organizing a busy bag swap, so the “busy bag” pin has been sitting on my “to do this week” board for quite some time.

Then, lo and behold, I discovered Curious Minds Busy Bags!  This mom felt the same way that I did about having extra materials, so she started putting together extra bags to sell online to moms just like you and me.  These busy bags are already created and ready to go, and she has so many great ideas for different ages and gender, and in lots of different areas of learning.

Here’s an example of a fine motor activity that would be sure to catch my boys’ attentions:

And this Color and Sort Caterpillar is so bright and colorful!

This Parking Dominoes busy bag would provide a good challenge for my 4-year-old and could still be used for a couple of years:

These Paint Chip Puzzles are so cute and could easily fit into my purse for those “quick” trips to the doctor’s office:
