I got an early Mother’s Day present the other day.  It wasn’t from my husband or from my children.  Shabby Apple sent it to me and I’m ever so grateful, because… I simply adore everything Shabby Apple!  Ready to see it?  My favorite clothing company sent me this dress:

Isn’t it gorgeous?

You can count on the fact that I will be wearing it to church on Mother’s Day.

I love the fit.  I love the color.  I love everything about the Coco Bean dress.

What I love most is the versatility of the dress, because I can wear it all summer long and it will carry on quite nicely into the fall/winter.

There are so many things that I need from Shabby Apple, so I’m thinking that my husband and children should get me something Shabby for Mother’s Day.  Don’t you think?  Maybe a Shabby Apple Gift Card???  Yes!  I think that I definitely need one of those.  Audiologist Man I sure hope you are reading this, so you can order me one of those.  :)

The weather here in St. Louis has been quite unusual this season.  It has only snowed once and that was several months ago.  No snow so far for 2012.  Usually it’s bitter cold here with the dreaded windchill factor.  But last week?  We had temps in the middle to upper 60′s!  That’s highly unusual for these parts.  Winter is actually my favorite season, so really I’ve missed getting to dress for the elements this year.  There is still hope, though.  The weather man is predicting some colder weather and I’m ready for it.  Plus, in years past we have gotten snow late into the season.  Here are some images of my city the end of March 2011:
