Chamilia Jewelry Sets {Review}

I was in the middle of some major “fall cleaning” this past week, and I came across a bag of jewelry I had in my bottom drawer.  It’s the bag that has traveled around the world with me and holds some of my most beloved pieces.  As I was going through that bag, I came across a charm bracelet that a good friend of mine had bought for me when I was still in high school.  It made me nostagic and reminded me of some great experiences that I had with wonderful people.

I thought again of that piece of jewelry the other day when I received a package in the mail from Chamilia jewelry.

 I was sent the Silver Snap Bracelet with the Snowflake bead, in anticipation for the winter holiday season.  The bracelet that I received is like a charm bracelet for grown-ups — it’s classy and timeless, and the beads can changed depending on the event, season, or new experiences.  Silver Snap Bracelet

Snowflake Bead

My favorite part of this Chamilia bracelet is that the bead easily can be added on, but the “twisting action” keeps the charm from falling off.  Of course, as soon as I pulled the bracelet and charm out of the box, my 18-month-old son decided that he wanted to try it on himself.  He snatched it out of my hand right after I added the bead (meaning that the clasp wasn’t shut yet), and I was sure that the charm was going to flying off — not so much!  It stopped right at the end.  Amazing!

The Chamilia collection gives some suggestions for starting a bracelet, and they have a variety of beads for many different occasions and experiences:

Bump Set Spike

“Honor” Military Tag

Lighthouse

Japan

Modern Glam – Blue Swarovski

I was highly impressed with the quality of both the bracelet and the charm.  It felt comfortable enough to wear everyday but was also classy enough to wear on a night out.  Chamilia also offers earrings and necklaces, and many of the pieces include Swarovski crystal, as shown above.

A bracelet and beads from Chamilia would also be a great personalized gift for anyone this holiday season, and I would highly recommend the pieces.
